Join us on Saturday, Sept. 10, as we celebrate the abundant harvest of mid-summer, and our favorite farm fruit! There will be tomato tasting, tomato games, tomato facts, tomato art, fried green tomatoes and, of course, lots of red and green tomatoes for sale. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s free, and everyone is welcome to come and join the fun.
Children are welcome to take part in the Tomato Parade, which will step off at around 10 a.m. Marchers are encouraged to bring musical instruments and other noise-making implements and to wear tomato-appropriate clothing, though neither is required.
Join us for pumpkin decorating, sack races, apple bobbing on a string, and treats. This event is great for all ages, so bring the whole family! Costumes encouraged!
On Saturdays during Farm Stand, the farm is open to the public for a community picnic. Bring a lunch and visit with neighbors and friends, tour the farm, pick a bouquet, or bring an instrument. We will often have a grill going and would love to see you there!
